This William Krisel mid-century home was in need of a complete renovation. Atlanta designer and homeowner, John Morrison, had specific requests like removing the interior visible beams for a smooth, flush ceiling. We had to tear off the existing roof and replace the beams above the original roofline. The interior had a sunken living room which we filled in to make the living space look expansive as one contiguous floor with oversized 32” x 32” porcelain tiles. The kitchen was completed in a graphite, high-gloss acrylic cabinetry and honed carrera marble countertops with high end appliances. The carrera was continued on the shower walls and even placed as inlaid rugs set to the floor surface as a decorative feature in the bathroom floors. The bathroom cabinetry was custom zebra wood with matching custom mirrors.
