This traditional Spanish influence home needed a serious update but the owners wanted a more contemporary, modern, open plan which we call “transitional design” today. The owners also wanted to create a very private, encapsulated compound complete with a new two-story private gym, olympic size pool with water volleyball stadium seating, outdoor fireplace and dining area, full outdoor kitchen, open kitchen design with top line appliances and coffered ceiling, floor heating, new indoor fireplace, granite sculpture fountains, all new baths and casework, and all run 100% on solar power. Caeserstone counters, limestone floors, Walker Zanger tile, exterior pavers, Toto and Hansgrohe fixtures, Subzero and Thermador appliances.
